All stakeholders meeting has been held in the National Provincial meeting Friday to seek their views on seeking to pave the way for the construction of a large number of affordable housing is a key bill.

Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill, 2013 is likely to be taken up for consideration in Parliament winter session.

"We have convened the meeting of all stakeholders in order to solicit their views and proposals of the Bill," a senior official of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Ministry said.

Department of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Minister Venkaiah Naidu discuss various aspects of the bill with his officials on Wednesday. The Narendra Modi government promised housing for all in 2022.

Naidu stressed that the bill, while seeking to promote housing activities should focus on coordinating the attention of consumers and real estate developers, rather than the introduction of stifling regulatory name.

The minister said the bill should register them with the regulatory agencies to promote information disclosure transparency, developers on all relevant information about the real estate projects.

Apart from Naidu and government officials, the environment and forests and climate change, consumer affairs, civil aviation representatives and the Ministry of Culture, will attend the meeting.

Such as the protection of consumers' interests and the single window system to the real estate project approval issues will also come up for discussion.

Consumer welfare associations, apartment owners associations, professional associations, such as firms and management consulting, the National Association of Real Estate Development Council officials and the Indian Council of Real Estate Developers Association lawyers will also attend.

After this exercise, Naidu will work with ministers to formally amend the firm before the relevant meeting to be moved, if necessary.

There are suggestions from the real estate sector, rename the bill for Real Estate (Regulation and Promotion) Bill.
